"Came to Manchester to see the Beths. When that was cancelled at short notice I met up with a mate and his wife to see their daughter in the band "Brand New Legs" at Night People. Lovely, smart venue with a great vibe. Bar well positioned on one side and a handy step up down the left hand side for the vertically challenged! Reminded me of the sugar mill in Hanley minus the sticky floor!"

"Haven't been to this club since it was the Mutz Nutz a good few years back. Bar prices were good, £1 per item for the cloakroom and the bar staff were very helpful (serving quickly, restocking the toilet roll in the ladies and helping escort a trouble maker out of the club late in the night). Smoke machine is perhaps a little too much on the heavy side for a small club but the sound system was great. There is adequate seating and a hand stamp system so smokers can get in/out without any problems."

"Nice, intimate venue. This place used to be a fetish dungeon, but you wouldn't know it now. It could have more character if they played on the venue's past a bit more. Seems like they want to cut all ties and associations to its history and the village right next door, which is a bit sad really."
