"Lovely place, friendly staff,was there for a wedding reception, didn't stay in a room."

"Booked for a last minute breakaway for a couple days shopping and museum visits. We basically used as a base, nice clean rooms, complimentary coffees etc provided. Even tho there's a building site behind the lodge the noise is minimal and didn't give us early wake up calls at all. Would recommend anybody to stay. Only downside was the window of room appeared to have a burst seal on it giving steamed window effect, but wandering through lodge it would appear its part way through renovations so would think that would be on the the to do list eventually. Would come back and next time try the foods on offer"
