"This is a beautifully decorated, rustic, enchanting hotel. The 400 year old building is very comfy and warm. An extremely relaxing environment. A fairytale feeling to the aptly named Wizards retreat. Welcomed by the owner Ian and introduced to the area, given plenty of ideas for eating and day out opportunities. The suite (Merlin Suite) was extremely comfortable, warm and a delightful place to stay. Cake, biscuits, teas and coffees and toiletries all included and of a high quality. Just an absolutely delightful stay which we plan to repeat to experience one of the other suites there."
