"Waiting 2 months for an ultrasound abdomen appointment. Finally recieved a letter from them! Yay! Nope. Letter is to say I've missed my (made up) appointment (that I never recieved notice of) and I need to ring the number on the letter within SEVEN DAYS (all caps, bold and underlined) to arrange a real appointment. Only when you ring the number it only rings for 10 rings and then cuts off (probably hung up). Did that 10 times in a row. So fat chance of making a real appointment. Came to google to get a different number and the one on here is for the linacre centre. Not sure who's "mistake" that is but I guess I'll just keep ringing and ringing the number that hangs up until either I die or someone picks up. Wish me luck"
"Can't praise the staff on the rainbow ward enough. Every single member of staff was so kind and caring both to my little boy and to myself. The standard of care was faultless. No one likes being in hospital but the staff made the experience manageable. Lots to cheer up the kids on the ward with different activities in the play room each day, even a magician. Staff that actually love their job and care about their patients. Thank you Rainbow Ward staff for looking after my little boy and helping him get better!"
"Apart from the parking, iv recently had my boy here at Wigan as I didn't want him at Bolton. I can't thank the midwifes enough. The care lives up to expectations and the birth was so quick for me even as a first time mummy. Thank you again especially Hannah and Sam who delivered my precious little man. Xx"
"Spent the last three day at Wigan infirmary, staring at AandE and lowton and ince wards,I can honestly say it gets ten out of ten for everything the staff were all lovely and despite doing a very demanding job were fantastic. The hygiene and cleanliness was spot on,and the food was better than many hotels I have stayed at. Add to that nice comfy beds and it was all a very pleasant experience for me. Turns a anxious time into a more pleasant one. Thanks to everyone involved. Dave."
"BRILLIANT Thursday 03 November, daughter went to A and E early hours. Diagnosed with Quinsy, doctors, nurses and all staff where brilliant. Ended up having to drain 5mg from her tonsils along with connected up to drips for antibiotics etc. Within 24hrs back at work and felt normal within 8rs. WELL DONE TEAM YOUR HARD WORK AND DEDICATION HASNT GONE UNNOTICED"
