"Extremely disappointed with this garage! From reading the other reviews on Google I thought J H M Mot & Service Station would be good, and fix my wife's car. I couldn't be more wrong! Brought the car which turned out to have low oil pressure from a car dealer, who offered to have it fixed for me with J H M. J H M The were going to replace the oil sensor to see if that's the issue. However they said they couldn't do it as the car had an electric fault because it was missing a second wire. This was not the case and the sensor only had one terminal anyway so it didn't need another wire. After telling them this the car was left with them for further investigation as they then said they think it's the pump. From today the car had been with them for over 2 weeks and they still haven't fixed it. Called last week to check on car and they said they couldn't fit and don't normally for oil pumps. Then I get a call from my dealer saying he spoke to them after I told him this, and they told him they do fit them... Rang again today to check on my wife's car and the attitude was terrible. They told me it wasn't the pump causing the issue and the dealer had now got it. I asked what was the issue if not the pump? I thought as they have had it for over 2 weeks they would now know. But instead I got "I don't know. I didn't work on it." I actually had to say "well can you ask?". The next person who I assume was the lead macanic just keep going round in circles and not answering my question. In the end I got there but they made it really difficult! Maybe the reason they have got 5 star reviews is because they are ok at the simply jobs? Even though fitting a sensor is a easy job, which they couldn't do. But since then they have now fitted a new one, so don't know what the problem was and it clesrly wasn't an electrical fault, if they have fitted it now. I'm just pleased I got a second opinion otherwise the car would have gone to a electrical macanic for no reason. They are now saying again it's an electrical fault, even though 2 weeks ago they were pretty sure it was the oil pump. I can safely say I would not recommend this garage at all! They just don't seem to care, they don't ring back when they say they will, don't keep the customer informed on what's happening and just their tone of voice stands out as they don't care or they are board. I could look past the attitude of they had fixed the car (wouldn't go there again), but to have that and not have the car fixed. They just don't seem very good at all. Appolgies to anyone reading this about the rant but I just felt that my review needed to be said."
