Reviews
"This establishment is excellent but vehicle access provided by Google is a problem. Access is by a long farm road with an enormous pothole sections ( grounded car at leased once) also difficult to turn round at end. Once there excellent food and service with good children's facilities, loved by dog walkers. Although difficult to get there it is well frequented by locals. Will certainly go again but will walk in from Loversall or Wadworth."
"What a little gem of a place, good food, reasonable prices, lovely decor. A few sheep in the little field next to it, for the kids to feed, rabbits in the garden area. Definite return visit planned. Its a bit of a walk from the B&Q at the bottom of Carr Hill but its a nice walk (dogs can be off the lead most of the way)(Don't park in B&Q and then leave the site, there's signs up saying you will be clamped if you do). We parked on the little access road between B&Q and the petrol station."
"A great little restaurant. The food is expensive and the portions are small, but it's tucked away in a remote location only known to the few so it's a great little find. You can get here by walking from B&Q or via the path via Bessacarr Crossings and Potteric Carr. Don't tell too many people!"
"Lovely little take away cafe in an open barn. Friendly staff, nice reasonable food and lovely setting. We had cold drinks, a breakfast wrap, sausage butty and a panini, followed by ice creams. There’s a pizza oven too and a vegan menu. Do NOT drive here - we didn’t realise that the road on Sat nav is just a rough track and nearly wrecked our suspension! Next time I would park by Amazon and walk across or you can walk Hall Balk Lane from the main road. We didn’t realise there were toilets, as they are by the side of the road. Nice place to walk dogs round the lakes. (As they aren’t allowed at Potteric Carr)"
"Lovely walk from Alverly lane this morning but unfortunately Annabel’s is only open at weekends in January & February but we still enjoyed the walk the dog also did"
