Old House At Home - Pub & Carvery

"I come here quite a bit. The pub feels cozy to me which is impressive given the size of the building. Amongst other features: There’s a bar; A carvery; and pool tables. Staff are consistently friendly and helpful and the welcome is always warm. Had the all day breakfast which you can see in the pic I provided. Was cooked to perfection and there was plenty of it, honestly one of the nicest cooked breakfasts I’ve ever had and I’ve had loads over the years. Menu is plentiful with something for everyone whether its food, drink or both you are looking for. While I was there, the manager was doing some paperwork at one of the tables which was nice to see as it demonstrates she is present and cares about how the pub looks to the customers. Goes without saying I’ll be going there again. :)"

"Absolutely impressive refurbishment by current owners loved the staff friendliness and customer service was top class. They have a gaming area pool table darts and board games they thought about it all and one of the cleanest toilets I’ve been in in any pub over the years …. Menu Price perfect for all pockets ideal for family and those with smaller appetite they offer small plates and prices …. It’s a place I’ve been visiting since my children were young now I go with my friends and older children"

"Excellent yet again! Our forth visit not counting our wedding meal. All absolutely wonderful visits. Mandy can’t do enough for us and goes above and beyond every week. Food was delicious again and service was fab. We have booked for next Sunday and can’t fault anything apart from the parking. We are disabled and spaces are always full. Would advise you book to get a table as Sunday is always busy."

"Nice food and atmosphere as always. This time some of the food was slightly burnt from the grill but it was really busy in the pub and also my previous experience was always good so I can accept this little issue as an accident due to the lot of customers. Highly recommended!"
