"Went here to get a dress, spent a few minutes looking for the ones i wanted, then asked if I could go to the changing room. One minute into being in the changing room (about to take my clothes off to get changed..), one of the staff members opened the curtain to 'check how I was getting along'. I don't know if this is customary but if it is then that seems a bit bizarre, but either way I felt completely violated and shocked that someone would take it upon themselves to do that. Not sure if they thought I was stealing, but I don't think I showed any behaviour prior to this that would have suggested so - the only conclusion I can come to is that they judged me because of my age/appearance. Felt really wrong then paying £175 for a dress after feeling like I was treated differently to someone who might have been dressed better than me or been their usual type of customer. Disappointed as the shop is nice and had the potential of being a much better experience had I not been made to feel like they didn't want me there."
