"Great place friendly people and staff.. great prices . All round good pub xx"
"Great if you're a larger person. Big screen and a friendly landlord. Would of rated higher but not a good place if your an ale drinker like me."
"Top pub in bramich I ay bin in there for years nice staff and top beer a old fashioned boozer. Av a luk in there and av a few beers."
"One of only two pubs left in the Carters Green Area the pub underwent a major refurbishment a couple of years ago. A good selection of Holden beers and popular drinks including San Miguel. Live bands on a Saturday evening with free admission, also a beer garden if you want to sit outdoors."
"This is one of three pubs that I know that is owned by the Holdens Brewery and is local to the black country. This place has been modernized to accommodate more visitors but the newly renovated leaded light Windows still fit the character of the old style pub. Holdens Brewery ales are well worth a try for real ale enthusiasts. Update I recently visited the pub and all the old style pub is gone inside and now is a one room bar come entertainment area and two large screen tv's and a platform for live music."
