"Cheap and cheerfull. Food average but prices are good. Generally a bit tired, with a lot of the seating upholstery very very worn and in need of refurbishment. Car park facilities OK. Have only been at lunch time so can't comment on evenings"

"Didn't have the pre-ordered starter because "another table changed their minds and we didn't realise". Food was okay but stuffing was brick hard. Overall, didn't think £45 per head was value for money. Staff were friendly and helpful"

"Lovely place to eat in, very cosy environment and food is delicious. The room is heated to an excellent degree and there is always live football and games going on. This is a great pub to watch the world Cup tournament"

"I really love here, it’s quiet and the staff are always kind and friendly. They’ve been helpful when we’ve wanted to host a birthday party and there’s always someone to answer the phone when we have an enquiry. The portion sizes are really good in comparison to other pubs in the area and the food is tasty. The decor is quite modern and they have quite a few cushioned seats that give it a homey feel. My friend, who is a sports fan, loves the fact that they have sky sports and live sporting events but would want more tvs lol"

"Greater by a management member at the door, track and trace on door,entrance & hand sanitiser at the door. Staff have made the pub covid safe with table service & social distancing. Food remains excellent and great value. The staff were all very friendly. Foods and drinks are reasonable price. The entire meals was cooked to perfection! They deserve to be recognised and rewarded. Well done to Lucy and the team."
