Reviews of MANGO
"I had a rather shocking experience at Mango with a rude, aggressive and antagonistic individual. A black girl, fake lashes clumped together, short, size 18-26, black loose scarf and jeans on. The issue arose from an innocent blue light card query. I have used the blue light card twice of recent in Mango and I asked to use my card today. I was told that the blue light card wasn't accepted by the girl serving me. I said well it was taken just last Saturday at Oxford street to which I was told by the girl next to her no they must have given me a goodwill gesture to which I said no they accepted the blue light card. I went on to say I understand what a good will gesture is as I'm a Solicitor. She was incredibly condescending so I mentioned my background to make it clear I understood what she was telling me. There is a notable difference in blue light and NUS. However my mentioning this clearly aggravated a wound! I was told that she was a practising solicitor and I don't know the law. She then threatened to call security for what reason I don't know and then proceeded to commit theft by grabbing my phone from my hand. Totally psychotic erratic behaviour. I have major doubts that this individual would make it on the roll showing signs of psychopathy with a possibility of borderline personality disorder. She has some kind of chip on the shoulder to behave so badly. It was so shocking to witness and then the theft being committed in store following an accusation of recording her questionable behaviour. She was supposedly serving someone else but this was clearly done quite poorly as her focus and attention was on me. Really strange and aggressive behaviour. I even tried to smooth things over before I left and said I'm sorry if I offended you. I was told no I don't want to talk to you. You were so belittling to me. My mentioning I'm a solicitor isn't belittling. However being hammered about the difference between blue light, NUS and good will gestures is. Actually there are no privacy laws in England. You can record anyone anywhere "In the UK, as an individual mobile phone user, generally speaking, secretly recording a conversation is not a criminal offence and is not prohibited if that recording is just for personal use, and the consent of the person you're recording is not needed cited 6 May 2022." I hope more people record incidents like this at Mango so more can be done about aggressive individuals. This isn't the only complaint about her and clearly mine won't be the last unless she is fired which is what needs to be done. Seriously this person needs an injunctions and/or criminal behaviour order. I don't know how Mango can employ people like this."
"Very bad customer service. Lack of understanding and patience from one staff member in particular. Very dissapointed. Brent Cross mango is much better and much nicer staff."
"Im not one to complain but here goes! I don't shop in Mango however I visited the store yesterday to return an item on behalf of my Mum. I was served by a familiar face (the same woman who served my mum a few weeks ago). She was wearing a black headscarf , a black T-Shirt and very long false lashes - best description I can give. On both occasions she was extremely rude and unpleasant. She has no manners nor people skills and quite frankly I do not understand how she got the position in the first place. This is not the first complaint I have seen about her either (judging by another reviews description). I will be making a formal complaint as I expect to be spoken to with respect."
"Nicely laid out store. Nice product merchandising. Love seeing the outfits laid out for inspirations. Feel this brand is aimed at the younger ladies. The fabrics felt really good quality and the prices weren’t too high. Reasonable worth the money prices for the quality. Loved the range they had. Very modern and classy products. Had a walk around and didn’t find anything that caught my eye. Staff were friendly and welcomed us into the store and asked if we were ok. Would happily shop here for presents in the future."
"Did click and collect, came here to collect, was easy peasy lemon squeezy, quick and efficient nothing to complain about really. They have a separate place to go to so you have to queue at the check out like some other places."
