Reviews of Kate's kitchen
"I came in here about 2 months ago I had a polite good attitude as always, there was a guy at the till on the phone taking loads of orders he looked rushed off his feet so I patiently waited, I then ordered a coffee and sandwich, I sat down and it was taking a very long time i wondered why I had not recieved my coffee as well so I went to the till and said sorry guys do you know where my coffee is and this lady with a very angry looking face came out of the kitchen and looked at me like trash and said you make your own coffee I said okay well nobody told me that she then replied "We don't do everything for you you know in a loud chavy tone" I looked at the coffee and sugar but there was no mugs there to even make my coffee anyway her attitude and lack of communication did not make any sense I though it was a disgusting service and could not believe the way I was spoke to I literally was so polite and had no attitude and the lady spoke to me like trash she seriously needs to develop some people skills and go to anger management or something because that is not how you should run a business."
"If you want a traditional cafe then this is the place. Great breakfasts (and much more) served by a great team. Value for money. Would reccomend."
"Visited for a second breakfast after dieting and weighing in for a powerlifting competition. Perfect full English with toast and tea. Great old school atmosphere and prices. Just what was needed. Will come again."
"It was early. I was cold and thirsty. Google Maps, what cafes are open at this ungodly hour at Tyburn House? Kate’s Kitchen? I took a stroll to investigate further. Embarrassingly, what I thought was the doorway to the cafe, was in fact the entrance to the kitchen. After realising my mistake, I sheepishly closed the kitchen door and made my way through the correct entrance. A welcoming, smily group of ladies joked with me about the ingress palaver. I made my excuses and ordered a cup of tea. Kate’s Kitchen is a good new fashioned greasy spoon. The interior is surprisingly modern for a cafe specialising in fried foods. It is bright and comfortable. It has many regular customers. Some are old timers making use of their pensions. Most are groups of tradies’, getting their fried fill before their shift starts. With cafes of this type, you cannot deny the value for money. £ for calories, places like this will keep the labourers full and their wallets debt free. I stayed in Kate’s Kitchen longer than I expected, such was the warmth and comfort. If you’re over this way, pop your head in and take a look at their extensive menu."
"Friendly staff and extremely accomadating. Favourite place to come for breakfast, and it's not even my local! Worth the travel time to eat here. :) Prices are affordable, cafe in general looks very clean."
