"The worst example of customer service I've seen in a long time. I arrived there after work at 4:31pm. I stood at the service desk for around four minutes whilst one member of staff was on the phone. Another came to me at 4:35pm and refused to serve me because of a notice on the door saying you might not be served if you're later than half an hour, so I asked if I could place an order for delivery as I already had my measurements written out. I was told to come back before 4:30pm the following day or to email my order. When I questioned the service saying there's another 25 minutes left, I was told "we need all that time to cash up so we can leave the premises at 5pm to go home on time"! Why not just advertise that you're only open until 4:30pm so customers don't waste their time trying to get to your premises only to be refused service? Update: I have spoken to both the MD and the manager. Both were disappointed with the service I received and were willing to make amends but I had placed my order elsewhere. The manager explained how health and safety regulations meant sufficient time was needed to clean the site - I agree but the opening times advertised are misleading and the staff member still have taken my order, and the manager did agree with this"
