"Great food, great staff, great location. What more can you want? Highly recommend the crispy chicken and disco cauliflower. But you can’t go wrong with anything here."
"The staff were lovely! One of the few places in the city that doesn't close the kitchen at 9.30pm. It was freezing inside when we visited and would recommend wearing warm layers if visiting in the evening. The bhaji and halloumi dishes were a delight"
"Outstanding - food, service, ambience. Must try dishes: buttermilk fried chicken, disco cauliflower, and the medjool date bread & butter pudding. I still dream about that dessert!"
"Lovely food, and great service. Paying between £8 and £12 per plate, and it's a "pick two or three small plates" kinda deal. In my opinion this is a much better style than a traditional starter and big main restaurant, but each to their own. Some of the dishes felt a bit on the pricey side. The 'hot plate' in particular was basically their take on an indian-style poppadom and chutney tray, but much more expensive. Tumeric onions were great! Felt the downstairs was a little cramped - not much room to maneuver between tables. The highlight was the disco cauliflower, which feels like the Thing to get to impress first time visitors. It was absolutely delicious. Will I be back? Not sure. But if you haven't been, I'd recommend!"
