"Wow. Absolutely unbelievable service from Craig today. We took my 2 year old nephew for his first hair cut and Craig was unbelievable. His way with kids is on another level, I’ve never seen a barber engage with a child the way he did. Honestly, would recommend 10000%"
"Took our little one here for his first haircut. Craig was so patient and comforting with him. Thanks so much!"
"Took myself and my 3 year old son down yesterday for a hair cut. Now have to use Booksy to book an appt with COVID-19 guidelines. Not used it before and you can’t book two people in at the same time. You have to restart the booking process for each appointment. I booked mine and then went to book my son’s appt but I didn’t realise the date resets. I booked a time slot half an hour after mine but accidentally 3 days earlier (date barbers opened post lockdown). I didn’t realise this until I came down. Store owner didn’t even say hello, just jumped down my throat and demanded I pay for missed appt. I was obviously a bit taken aback and showed him my app and worked out the mix up. I was going to offer to come back and pick up someone’s late cancellation slot or come back at the end of the day if possible. I was also going to suggest I book into a quiet spot during the week where they would normally not have much business during a working day as I am off during the week quite frequently. However I decided to leave in the end as my 3 year old son was there. He was starting to get a bit upset and confused by everything and I didn’t want to have a confrontation with owner in front of him. It’s a real shame as they had cut his hair well the last two times and helped him get over his fear of the hairdressers. I actually gave a £10 tip each time to thank them on the last two occasions. I do appreciate their frustration with the lockdown affecting business, but I feel his manor and the way he approached the issue was pretty unprofessional. Especially with my son being there. A prior phone call or message via the app would have been more appropriate. Its a real shame as I wouldn’t have expected it from them."
"Beware Post Lockdown price rise! I’ve been going here for a few years now and have always found it a good service as that hasn’t changed, what has is the cost.... I seem to remember a standard cut was £9 when I first went, rising to £11 or £12 over time to when I went back in February. Went last week for the first time post lockdown only to be charged £18 for the same thing! I can understand they have ground to make up, but a 50% price hike without telling customers when they book, seems steep to me. Might be worth shopping around."
