"Lara was so utterly brilliant, I couldn't not leave a review to show some appreciation. I have rather wavy hair and I've been trying to learn how to maintain and care for it recently, and figured that a hair appointment would be a good way forwards. I was rather nervous, hair stylists in the past have never really been great with my hair. But Lara was so kind and attentive I truly felt like I had someone who just wanted me to feel confident with what I had. She recommended and bounced some ideas off of me for the kind of trim, I think she could tell I was rather unsure on what worked. And for every step that she went through, she explained and told me at every step what she was doing and why she was doing it. Even questions as simple as how much of a product do I use and where were answered without hesitation and with a smile. I left that salon feeling great. I think a hair salon experience can always be measured by the first wash after it. Usually there's always a sense of dread - you never quite know how it'll turn out, how to mirror what you had at the salon. But oddly enough, I was rather excited. And now with my hair dry with the products in, while I can never quite replicate the magic that Lara did, I'd like to think I came close. As someone who has had a difficult past couple of months, I underestimated just how much getting something like my hair under control would mean to me. So thank you to Lara, you were brilliant in all the ways. And thank you to the receptionists too, who made me feel welcomed and at ease as soon as I walked in. I have no doubt I'll become a recurring regular. Much love!"

"Had a great cut at the salon by Rebecca. Everything went perfectly from start to finish. I really liked the consultation before the cut and the fact the stylist used a scissors and comb technique instead of clippers - I have fine hair and find scissors gives a softer finish and also grows out better too. You will need to book in advance as the salon gets busy however I managed to get a cancellation so make sure to check the website for availability. In any case it’s definitely worth the wait!"

"I decided to visit MTHS based upon the fantastic Google reviews they had received. The salon is easy to find and upon entering I was greeted and acknowledged with friendliness. A hot drink was offered and I only had to wait a couple of minutes before Sara (Senior Stylist) led me upstairs. The salon is clean, trendy and welcoming. The consultation with Sara was lovely and she really listened to my concerns and suggestions relating to my impending haircut/hairstyle. She made a point of explaining every step she was taking and the reasoning behind that (really appreciated this). Sara was quick, efficient and has a great sense of humour and warmth. I was incredibly happy with my hairstyle (which is now manageable) and look forward to my next visit. Highly recommend."

"First visit and WOW this is an amazing salon!! The email of booking confirmation and text confirmation were so lovely! Instantly felt welcome! Arrived at the salon and was offered a drink straight away, which also came with a mini chocolate! Victoria saw me straight away, listened to exactly what I wanted and gave suggestions. Victoria cut my hair beautifully, she is amazing at what she does. Spent a lot of time ensuring it was a precise/even cut! Very happy! Thank you so much, will definitely be returning x"
