Reviews of Kaiserkeller
"Terrible Experience i had here. Visiting Liverpool always as someone living in Germany. I always loved coming here because the name is German and it gives me a happy feeling. But crazy enough the guard (a lady) picked on me from head to toe, and told me I couldn't get in. My jaws and excitement dropped.i asked her why and she said she wouldn't tell me why. I insisted she must tell me why, she said because I am alone. Immediate came a white young teenage girl and she let her in alone. I asked why is that girl half my age going in and not me, she said I am not welcome I should go to the next bar. Wow! I was very disappointed,so I asked the customers at the door to please asked this lady if it's because I am black so I should know black single customers cannot go in but white ones could, she told a customer because i look drunk but the customer and his girlfriend said no I don't look drunk. She then called her colleague guards who said yes I couldn't go in because I am alone . What nonsense. I am a hard-working 40 year old gorgeous woman who goes out seldom on my business trips and you treat people like trash because i cherish your place and want to go in? All other bars and clubs in Mathews street treated me equal to others, led me in only this? I pity the owner if he encourages this people to behave like these. Never ever will I even look at that place again. Disgusting racist people.Impoliteness to people because of their race is unacceptable. Discriminative and weird Guards here."
"Went along with some friends, when entering the bouncer called me a wa*ker? Didnt appear to be any reason, totally baffling, when i asked him what was wrong he gestured and called me a wa*ker and then offered me a fight? Totally bizarre considering he’d just let me in? Just really unprofessional, this pub really needs to have a look at who they have manning their doors, abuse of position and trying to incite violence with their customers, luckily im quite a happy go lucky person and just walked away into the bar, as for the pea brained bouncer you clearly have some mental issues."
"Is probably what you'd expect it to be for a bar on Matthew Street. All drinks are served in plastic glasses which is a bit of a pain as the beer doesn't stay cool for quite as long. Steins of (very bad) beer for £7 so worth visiting if you're out for a stag/hen do or something similar."
"Ordered 3 cocktails and there was no alcohol in any of them, they tasted like juice. Paid 8 pound each for juice. When I told the server about the problem she didnt want to resolve the mistake. Wouldn't go here again as they are kidding people."
