"Called in looking for a m.o.b outfit, delightful ladies and some beautiful dresses but sadly not my day. Lovely shop and lovely day wear downstairs some on the sale. Well worth a visit."

"Appalled at how She Fashions have treated my mum whilst shopping for her mother of the bride dress. Originally when she bought the dress 18 months ago, my mum FaceTimed me to show me her new outfit and the assistant thought it was appropriate to grab my mum in certain areas and say she needed to lose fat here and there for the dress to fit better. She was assured a few lbs would be sufficient but when the dress was still snug after her losing HALF A STONE 18 months later, she was told ‘well we’ve all put weight on during lockdown’. My mum is tiny btw. Aside from being massively inappropriate for her to grab my mum, this is an awful thing to say when my mum was simply looking for reassurance later on. She was also led to believe that the seamstress alterations were included in the £800+ she was already paying and was shocked when they charged her an additional £46 for the so called ‘seamstress’ to simply butcher her dress and leave it bulky with excess fabric she couldn’t be bothered to remove properly. Not exactly surprising when the seamstress wasn’t even present when the dress was pinned. Had she known from the get go, she would have taken the dress to someone more local instead of the hour round trip… something she’s now had to do which is costing her even more money. Why? Because she’s lost all confidence is the ‘seamstress’ and the attitude of the staff in the shop. When my mum complained she was met with hostility and responses such as ‘we can’t please everyone’ and ‘well we’ve been here for 28 years’ which is, I assume, some attempt at telling my mum that she’s wrong. These are just a few examples of how my mum has been spoken to over the course of 18 months. What was supposed to be an exciting and memorable experience has been ruined by a poor choice of words and actions of staff who think they know best. Customer service goes a long way, and that’s clearly overlooked at She Fashions. If you’re looking for a nice experience and staff with some decent bedside manner who don’t talk to you like you’re thick, go somewhere else. Other than that, her dress is simply gorgeous… or it will be when the new (and real) seamstress has corrected it."

"The two ladies were so helpful and nice and helped me choose my mother of the bride outfit . I also bought some clothes for my holiday and nothing was too much trouble .It’s so nice to find helpful ladies thankyou a lovely experience I will definitely go back ."

"We were looking for a Mother of the Bride outfit for my wife. This is not a large shop as they go, but it probably had the best range of the 4 shops we visited in all. They also had the best assistant who was extremely helpful and who knew a lot about such as possible alterations. The MotB stock is upstairs but the trying-on area is downstairs. The nearest parking is on 'the doughnut', the main roundabout in Chesterfield and parking there is not cheap for a medium sized town! The only reason we didn't finally buy at She Fashions was that they didn't have sizes to fit in outfits we liked"
