"Very Tasty. Portions are NOT small! I understand efficiency is key, but while I was trying to choose my ingredients for my burrito, the team was in such hurry that they made you feel awkward to say all the ingredients you wanted. Not an ideal experience."
"I ordered a vegan bowl through Uber Eats on Sat 4th Dec PM. What I received is shown in the photo on the left. What I *should* have received is shown in the photo on the right! This cost £16.82! It looks like they put some tofu in a bowl but forgot everything else - no beans, no sweetcorn, no tomatoes, no rice... I complained to Uber Eats who said they would take £2.80 off the bill for the inconvenience. So I am now stuck in an automated customer services loop with them, trying to get a proper refund. AVOID."
"TLDR; mediocre food at an expensive price. Wahaca or Tortilla, which are near by, are much better alternatives. This is my first visit to a Chipotle in the UK and it’s a weird experience. First of all, the food was very subpar. I had the steak bowl burrito and everything was surprisingly bland. The salsa, for example, was spicy but had no flavour. The food is also priced above other burrito joints in the area. For close to 10 pounds for a burrito I expected a bigger portion. Both Wahaca and Tortilla, which are also near by, offers much better value and quality of food Location wise it is on the quieter side of the Wharf which is fast developing into the more food focussed side. Which means there are plenty of, frankly better, alternatives just next door. I’d recommend checking out the Wharf Kitchen."
"I was very happy that Chipotle finally opened at Canary Wharf. When we are visiting family in the US we always eat at Chipotle so I had certain expectations. Unfortunately the portions are definitely not US sized but the quality is good. I had to eat two portions to be satisfied. The staff pretty unexperienced, serving time is rather long so the queue builds up quite fast. There are plenty of seats but when we were there all tables were dirty, rice, food pieces on the floor everywhere. Pros: - quality of food - location - seating options - beverage selection Cons: - portion size - price - unexperienced staff - lack of cleaning Overall: 3 out of 5 stars"
"Just newly opened in Jubilee Place. Eat in: The staff are friendly and the restaurant seating area has been well kept. Food: I ordered a Beef burrito which certainly was filling, though for a spend of £9.60 on a burrito alone you would expect there to be more meat/ veg as opposed to the rice and beans which presents you with the illusion that you are get filled with value for money. (£2 for guacamole is asking for quite a bit...). Overall: I did appreciate the speed of service and found the food appetising, plus there are plenty of seats so no trouble in finding a place to chill and eat. Though for the price you pay, I would expect the food to contain more of the filling you paid for rather than just rice and beans."
