"This place was on my list for a while. After hearing so many things about this place I took the decision to find out myself. Getting there is easy, just head up to Brixton and find the restaurant next to McDonald’s. I have to say. I’ve been to many other Colombian restaurants and this one is by far one of the few Colombian restaurants I will recommend you to go. The service was always on point, waitress was always around making sure that I was having a good experience (at least in my experience). He explained the menu very clear and that’s something important. The food is good, trust me you will be fine with one plate. Now my only concern and this is me being picky, they have some plates that I will probably have in other restaurants rather than this one. I will highly recommend you to get always the “meal of the day” soup + main course + drink. You will not be disappointed and trust me, you will leave that place happy. On the other side if you are looking for “a la carta” some of those plates are way better in other restaurants, once again this is me being picky. Overall, this restaurant is definitely a good place to share with your friends and family. Service is good, food is good and the place is comfortable. Well done El Rancho de Lalo!"

"Followed the high rating to this place for my first meal in London. I arrived at midday to a nearly empty restaurant but it wasn’t long before people started packing it in. My Columbian friend back home recommended my menu choices and I wasn’t disappointed. A highlight was the fried banana and beans. The dessert was surprisingly nice too! I had: 1x FRIJOLES CON CHICHARRÓN 2x LULO 1x AREQUIPE CON QUESO Highly recommended :)"

Completely brought my Colombian partner home for the evening. The staff are fab, the music is great and we will definitely be making this our go to spot when we visit London."
