"Great place for Mexican fare. I visited with a friend on a Friday night and we had a good time. The food was delicious and the atmosphere was lively. I highly recommend booking a table ahead of time as it was busy on a Friday night and there was a small wait for a table from 18:45 onwards. I recommend ordering 5 small plates (for 2 people) and I can vouch for the buttermilk fried chicken and the sustainable fish tacos - as delicious as they looked mouth-watering. The Margarita pie (new on the menu) was beautiful too - light and refreshing. Service was friendly and the food was great. I have no qualms at all. Recommended."
"Really lovely ambience, good service, the food came our relatively quickly and was very tasty, we got the Favourites sharing platter and the lamb birria tacos, all of which tasted great and came out hot. I'd be happy to visit again soon."
"Great Mexican street food restaurant near Waterloo. Pork pibil is the best of all tacos. You must book it if you are going there for early dinner as they save all the restaurant for the theatre goers (Old Vic and Young Vic are nearby)β¦ so you can either walk in very early 5:45pm or later 8:30pm, otherwise only with reservation."
"The atmosphere is very lively and the staff are friendly. I ordered a chicken enchilada which was nice. We had a slight issue with one of our food orders. We ordered a vegan dish but they put regular cheese on. The staff did apologise and we were given a free dessert."
"Before I begin, please note I'm not a chef or a trained cook. Strengths: aesthetics & environment looked good, clean, & vibrant. The "paying online at table" is a plus. The cheese chili balls were good too. The service was good. I was checked on by 3 different persons. Areas of improvement: I ordered the grilled chicken burrito ultimate. It looked good, but the tortilla was cold. I get the "street food" theme, but even street vendors keep the tortillas warm. The burrito filling had a "cajun blackened" pepper texture & taste. No other flavors really came through. The peppers were a mixture, gritty & heavy. The recipe & construction needs work. My other concern was the seating & spacing during a Covid-19 time. It felt crowded. Several groups."
