"As well as being a film set for one of my most favourite comedy shows it's a lovely old pub. Great staff, great beer, and a great beer garden when the weather's fine. They also have theatre nights too. It's rapidly becoming one of my favourite pubs on the Salford/Manchester border"
"Came across this pub when trying to find somewhere to enjoy a bit of craic on a Sat night. Was close to the hotel so figured we'd give it a go. It was busy and there was a comedy night upstairs. Everyone was very friendly and the prices were great. Only reason for not giving 5 stars is because I had to go online and create an account to buy tickets to go into the comedy show even tho I was there - they had no way of taking money from us directly; and the ladies wcs were very compact and doors insecure. But we had a fab evening !!"
