"Easily the best pint of Guinness in England. I always recommend this place to friends who visit manchester. As a fellow publican I'd love to know their secret on how the Guinness is so creamy and perfect."
"Finally tried the Guinness in here and must say it was nothing special and for £6.20 it was a bit dear too. Nice atmosphere and friendly staff but I wanted the Guinness to be the best I've tasted out of Ireland but unfortunately I didn't think so. Recently, I came back from Keswick where I had the best pint of Guinness in the Pack Horse, a really nice pint. I shall resume the search to find the best pint of black once more."
"It’s a bit of a mixed bag here. On one hand the drinks choice is fantastic, the ‘oldy’ English pub feel is cosy and the music decent…but sadly the live music was so so loud that we couldn’t really have a chat with our friends. Whilst the music is genuinely good and some clearly talented people playing it’s just too loud in a pub that small so it means you are constantly shouting at each other to be heard and have a conversation. As mentioned earlier though, the drinks are fabulous and the Guinness is one of the best I’ve ever had in England so kudos on that!"
"Just popped here on a very busy Friday night for one reason and one reason only and that was for a pint of Guinness. Hands down the best Guinness I've had outside of Ireland it tasted very good and pub pints of Guinness taste so much better than cans. Atmosphere was decent here the pub was absolutely packed but being a Friday night it was expected. If you just go here to try the Guinness you won't be disappointed one bit. Can't wait to come back here for more."
"Great atmosphere and Guinness that didn't disappoint, not normally a Guinness drinker, but after tasting my partner's thought I would try a pint for myself. My partner is a Guinness drinker and said it was the best couple of pints he's had outside of Dublin."
