"Great Hydes pub. First visit back in the 70' when it was a basic back street local. (Hope Inn? ...Paulicarus says Albert Inn!) Hard to believe Didsbury took so long to become trendy. Totally refurbished in 1998. Big extension plus beer garden. Great sun trap. Worth heading off the main road. 90 seconds walk. Beer always in good condition. Full range of Hydes beers. Paulicarus had a Ralf and Alf in his favourite front room."
