"Brief visit whilst walking. Firstly Google opening times do not match pub website opening hours!! I went with pub website thankfully so check! One cask beer on only other pump clips turned around. (Very drinkable as a darker bitter) Multi roomed one dedicated to darts & golf club. Outside slightly sad with a couple of tables on one edge of the carpark. Front very attractive with plants."
"Pleasant old fashioned pub, very very good beer. Does take cards and cash."
"Cosy little local with really warm welcome from the owner, who is fantastic with humans and dogs alike! Everything you want in a pub down the road!"
"Small, cosy pub with a real fire and ale to match. This is a great place to pop in for a quick pint or to make a night of it. Big screen TV's showing the football are a big draw but sports fans don't dominate like they do in some bigger pubs. Well worth a visit."
