"I came with some family before going for a meal, and was pleasantly surprised that live music was still done here. I hadn't realised Bakers still did live music. The band played great music, the atmosphere was super and the service was absolutely fine."
"A pub with the same name despite several iterations over the years. Once had a top chef and great food (1990 ish) and in about 2011 we saw our son play bass guitar for his heavy metal band Black Moon Rising. On the site of Stockport's Norman Castle. Been many times. Currently great real ale venue for Robbie's and a guest ale or two. Jorvic chose the winter special really strong 8%+ Old Tom. Back in the 70's only sold in special 1/3 pint. Like Fowler's Treacle. Half enough today.Great location on the market"

"Great local pub in the heart of Stockport Old Town. This place serves all kinds of craft ales as well as plenty of classics. The bar is well stocked with a range of spirits. Staff are always friendly. This place gets rammed on Foodie Fridays and other events in the town centre but perfect for midweek catch ups with friends."
