"Yesterday, I was visiting family in Swinton and stumbled across this little gem of a place. The staff were welcoming and made time to chat to my niece and daughter. We had different four different items from the menu and were impressed with the quality of the food - the prices were very reasonable too. I thought they’d of been higher based on the location. I would have happily paid more for the standard of the standard food we ate. We look forward to visiting again soon."
"After a nice walk down the local loop line and a play on the park, the café in the village is a fabulous place to head for. Warm and welcoming staff, serving delicious hot and cold food. The kids love a nice hot chocolate and sticky bun. The traditional post office is still tucked in the corner for your convenience too. Thanks for being there, see you again soon."
"On our walk down the old railway line, we came across a board advertising this place so decided to do a detour and visit a new, for us, cafe. Very first impressions were good, but then a bit disappointed at the service being a bit slow, two young ladies serving, but the selection of drinks and cakes were very good. As we sat there enjoying the place we were aware of an older lady presumably the owner, deep in discussion with two more people, our presumptions were that they were having some problem and normally she would be serving, meaning the service would normally be better. We also missed a cabinet full of pies, custard tarts and more which looked absolutely delicious, so we will return and sample one or two of those, yes we will return, looking forward to a nice pie"
