"visited this cafe about 3 weeks ago and i still haven’t stopped thinking about their matcha! best matcha latte i’ve had from a cafe in manchester. their flat white was excellent in all aspects. also loveee the art they have on display. really would want to visit this cafe again!"

"Friendly and helpful staff. It's Halal. I had chicken aubergine and harrisa which was delicious and very filling and cappuccino Seating inside and outside. Toilet with baby changing area. I will definitely be trying something different next time"

"My new favourite local coffee shop! The quality of the coffee is exceptional and fairly priced. It's great to see so many people in the local community supporting their new independent coffee shop, it seems consistently busy all the time. Perfect spot to get a bit of work done or catch up with a friend. Gluten-free cakes are usually available but no gluten-free breakfast/lunch options yet (but I believe they're coming soon) Staff are always so enthusiastic, friendly and offer that warm & welcoming hospitality. They have loyalty cards too! A little Chorlton gem for coffee lovers... Much needed after Barbecue closed down!"

"We stopped at Smoak for breakfast before our children’s final rugby game of the season. The coffee was fantastic, as was the service. The children had flavoured hot chocolates (Terrys chocolate orange and a vanilla), they described them as the best ever! The food was amazing, my wife and I had the famous pastrami bagels and they did not disappoint. Pastrami was full of flavour, the dressing was a fine accompaniment and the gherkin was just right. The kids had something simpler, but they all enjoyed what they had. Well worth a visit!"

"Great little trendy cafe, with tasteful decor and furnishings; displaying work from a local artist. Fabulous tasting coffee with a good selection of teas also. I ordered the chicken and aubergine bagel which was delicious. Professional, friendly, knowledgeable staff who display great enthusiasm when discussing food and beverage options; nothing was too much trouble. Nice selection of cakes and pastries with good vegan options. All in all a very pleasurable experience. An extra bonus is a baby change area. Will definitely return."
