About Legare
Legare is an innovative and unique establishment located in the heart of London, just a stone's throw away from Tower Bridge. It is multi-faceted space that serves as a food and liquor store, a restaurant, a point of interest, and a store.
As soon as you enter the beautifully-designed Cardamom Building, you are instantly transported into an authentic Italian atmosphere. The chefs at Legare excel at creating classic Italian dishes with a unique twist, using only the finest ingredients sourced locally and from Italy. With dishes like hand-rolled tortellini stuffed with ricotta and spinach, whole grilled sea bream with herbs and lemon, and slow-cooked lamb shank with mashed potatoes, you are sure to fall in love with the scrumptious food.

Reviews of Legare
"Visited in 2022 and can’t stop talking about it! The staff is different level. Not only that they’re kind, accommodating and knowledgeable, happy to answer any question and attend to any need. They seem to get energy from interacting with their guests making the atmosphere so very welcoming and warm. Standard of the food matches the quality of the service here. Beautifully tasteful interior. Value oozing from every bite, sight and smile."
"Amazing little find! We were walk-ins, but they accommodated us so politely and generously. The food was out of the world, all prepared in front of you, an interesting take on great Italian dishes. The service was spot on, and the dessert was absolutely to die for, must go and try the Cannoli here!"
"Amazing service and amazing food, though they come at a price. We pretty much ate everything on the menu and enjoyed it all though it could benefit from seasoning and more complexity, as described by others. That said, the desserts were definitely my favourite of all the courses. Recommended and will let the pictures speak for themselves."
"Been here twice now and amazing experiences both times. The food is always impeccable (plates are always wiped clean and nothing wasted!!) and service is just as good. Lovely ambience and all around nothing to fault. One of the best dining experiences I’ve had in London."
"Maybe I expected too much, It was fairly okay but everything was a bit short of a higher rating. I must admit gnocchi truffle was beautiful and melted in mouth but a tad salty. Clam pasta - you can tell that the spaghetti itself is freshly made with lovely texture but neither clams or seasonings were memorable. Salad was quite bitter for our likings. Lovely interior inside and average friendly staffs - one thing we appreciated was that table was cleaned and wiped promptly inbetween dishes. Shame that the food didn’t live up to our expectation and the other reviews."
