Ciao Bella 86-90 Lamb's Conduit Street, London WC1N 3LZ

"Got brought here by friends and after a dinner here I definitely wouldn't recommend this place. My Italian friend used to say for food you can either do quantity or quality but not both, this place was busy and the food wasn't worth it. Probably the isolated location is the reason why it's busy?. The only food that was excellent was the breadcrumb fried stuffed mozzarella.. it was delicious. I didn't enjoy anything else, the seafood rice was basically buttered rice where the seafood was cooked separately and mixed in at the end.. you can see the char from the grilled seafood in the pic, most of the seafood was grilled separately. Lasagne was ok. The ice cream described as 'coated/rolled in nuts', came with a pinch of nuts. Food aside, we were sat in the basement where the men's toilet is.. and there were tiny flies buzzing the diner's heads and not to forget the big table in the centre that just had to scream at each other over their meal. Considering this place isn't cheap, there's no reason to go back ever."

"A lovely little place, great prices and very welcoming atmosphere! They have a great wine selection. Also, really good for large groups socials, especially when everyone doesn’t have the same budget. My only concern was too much cheese on my pasta. I’d definitely go easier on it!"

"Great food. Extensive wine list, but I’m a beer nerd. Their beer selection is small, but good quality choices. I had a spicy pizza. My wife had spaghetti and meatballs. We both enjoyed our meals and brought home leftovers for the next day’s lunch. Atmosphere is crowded and loud."

"Extremely nice dinner. The food cannot be tastier and the amount is perfect for a person who likes eating as much as I do! The atmosphere was great but the indoor space was a bit too loud because of the acoustic nature of the room. However, I would definitely repeat and recommend it!"

"Recommended to go here from one of our London friends. Well worth it. High quality food and very generous portions. We tried two pasta dishes, bruschetta and garlic pizza as recommended to us and enjoyed it all. We would try the seafood spaghetti next time! Wine and coffee to finish were a nice addition. Great time overall at Ciao Bella, interior has the most welcoming Italian vibe to it. Fed us well and made us happy."
