"Friendly service from the start to the end, nice atmosphere for all kinds of occasions. Food was absolutely delightful, mussel fritti was especially refreshing. Out of the 3 pastas we ordered, my personal favourite was the Pici cacio e Pepe, probably one of the best I have had in London so far! The black pepper really brought out the flavours of the entire pasta dish and the sauce was so rich! Definitely coming back again very soon!"
"We had dinner here. The waiters were very attentive and knowledge. The space is welcoming and it does not feel too cramped with too many chairs/tables. The food as good, but not brilliant. The starters were a bit uninspiring. The beef tartare tasted good but they need to work on the presentation of the dish. My partner's deep fried mussels were average. They came with a dollop of mayonnaise and a wedge of lemon. The mains, were lovely (we ordered pasta). Cacío e Pepe pasta and the beef Ragu pasta. you could tell it was handmade pasta, the sauce was lovely, rich and it had great depth. The dessert was good but nothing special. Almond tart with a dollop of creme fraiche. We washed down all our food with a bottle of red wine from the Marche region in Italy. The total bill came to approximately £120. Not necessarily a bargain but still in line with many other places on London. I'd come to this place again if invited by friends or if I happened to be in the area."
"Gone are the days when the only authentic Italian anything you could find in London was a smooth talker (stealing your daughters heart). Today, there must be actual Italian chefs in London suburban restaurants. Coz the food here is as authentically Italian as an opera where everyone dies of heartbreak. Everything was cooked as you'd find it down south. Service was so amiable, I had to check my plane ticket to make sure I disembarked in London. Special mention for a lemon tart that finally knocks the sublime Roux brothers lemon tart off its mantel, as the world's greatest. My partner thinks I can make a copy for her. Though I have Puccini like skills with gnocchi, I'm not sure I'm a candidate for success here..if not only for the need for the undoubtedly Sicilian lemons that ground this offer to its origin. Well played Trullo. You ain't no bargain, but which Italian with true talent sells it cheap?"
"We had lunch at Trullo during the weekends and it was amazing! The pici was surprisingly the best dish among all we’ve ordered. Had high hopes on the dessert but they were too big in portion yet less tasty than other Italian restaurants nearby. Great vibe although it could be loud at times. Super friendly staff!"
"The most absolutely wonderful evening at Trullo. Service was confident, personal, quick but not rushed and kind. Food absolutely delicious. And we made friends with the ladies on the table next door too!"
