"So, I’ve been left scratching my head at this one & I’m so baffled…. I worked here as security a few years back but left on a good note(so i thought)! There was no issue with any of my old colleague’s here?? A few weeks ago, a friend & i were in the area so i came up with the idea to pop in here for a little drink & to catch up with my old team members. Upon my walk to the entrance, me & my bubbly self was happy to see everyone. Most were ok bar one(not going to put the persons name on blast). I was looked up & down & with a bad attitude was told “you wrote us a bad review”!!!! We obviously from that, decided we were definitely NOT going in so i said goodbye & walked off, no big issue!! But, since then I have searched high n low for this “bad review” of mine of which is nowhere to be seen! To the point I thought i was going mad!!! So, heres my actual review for you! I don’t like being blamed for something I’ve not done! A simple apology would've been nice since then but if you didn’t want me inside the venue, you could’ve just said that! I’m a calm happy person & i can take knock backs! Very strange! But, hope everyone there takes care. Peace out."
"Great venue for gigs and nice ambience, the fire place is wicked and the oasis tribute act the other night was mega!"
"Lovely little pub with a gorgeous intimate live music venue in the back. Clean loo’s, friendly staff. Saw the band Nation of Language and the atmosphere was electric. Just grab an Uber if commuting from central Birmingham, it’s not a great walk through darkest Digbeth after dark!"
"Visited for the first time recently to see Terror. Really nice venue, barely a wait at the bar, sound good for a small desk and bar prices good. A bit out of the way, but avoids the clean air zone and free parking close by so saves relying on trains if travelling. Not great for accessibility however, there were some seats, but they were taken away (understandably to make room), but this left nowhere for anyone with a physical disability to watch the band."
