Reviews of Rosa's Thai Warren St.
"Amazing food and staff. It was such a lovely place to have dinner... Great story of the chef's start-up of Rosa ... quote from the restaurant born in the East raised in the East End ... love that.. a must place to visit... Thank you Anita our waitress for the evening who took the time to explain the opening of the restaurant.."
"I've been meaning to review this for a little while and until they got rid of the student training (for clarity: by students not just for students) menu (50% off) it was almost certainly five stars and my go-to lunch spot whenever I'm in the area. The good value made it easy to overlook the occasional overcooked protein or other minor mistake. However, now that a noodle dish at lunch is £14, I can't recommend it. This is especially the case when just down the road is a food market that will get you a great lunch for around half the price. It was my regular spot before Rosa's and I'll be going back. In my last visit I had the minced chicken drunken noodles, which tasted great once I added a few fresh chillies. The chicken was overcooked and I found a few chunks of gristle which was really off-putting. I should also note that unlike other Rosa's, there was no lunch meal offer available. Update: the £10 Express Lunch menu is available, you just have to ask for it as they don't lay it out. Not sure I understand why."
"Fabulous two floor and outside sidewalk dining. Excellent food and superb service! Very clean modern restaurant with very nice atmosphere. If your in the Warren Street area of London this is a must do! You can get to it easily on the Tube Victoria Line to Warren Street Station. Rosa's Thai is one block from the Tube Station and around the corner from the Radisson Blu Grafton @ Warren Street."
"A Very decent little place for some simple Thai food. Food came up quite fast but doesn't mean the taste isn't good. Calamari got a freshly crispy coating with simple pepper taste, the sourish sauce is a must for this dish to go well without getting over the top. Chilli beef got a gravy taste, some decent spiciness , and some semi - sweetness from soy sauce. The beans however were not that easy to chew and not flavoured that well, which is common. Maybe simply boil them beforehand and have them chopped before stir frying with a little bit more fire and oil can make the beans better tasted and to compose better with the whole dish. A small part of Jasmine rice was a bit too wet inside - which is again very common- but the simple aroma of it is just nice. Staffs can get a bit busy sometimes when more people start to come in and they have to manage two floors of a restaurant, but they are nice and efficient so a little bit of waiting is definitely worthy. Recommended for casual Thai food"
"An excellent authentic Thai restaurant 10 minutes walk from Euston station. 25% off if you have Blue Light / 15% for students. The service was warm and friendly. Highly recommended."
