"Amazing food, never disappoints, very friendly with fast delivery. Highly recommend, wouldn't go anywhere else"
"As with Christine we have used this take away for a long time and it has always been very good. However last weekend we ordered our usual sweet and sour chicken Cantonese style large, prawn toast and chips. The sweet and sour was almost cold and there was an over large amount of raw uncooked onion in the dish, very little meat and no typical sweet and sour flavour just a bland sauce. Prawn toast was cold and chips under cooked. This is very disappointing as prices have increased which we accept in the current financial climate but if one is unable to rely on quality customers will go elsewhere."
"What's happened? We've been using this takeaway for many years and it has always been excellent. However, on the last three or so occasions the food has not been up to standard and the dishes we regularly order have not been the same with the content and flavour bearing no resemblance to what we were expecting. On Saturday night we ordered a meal for five people which was ready for collection in 10 minutes - this is unusual as the wait time would usually be around 30-40 minutes at this popular time. Does this suggest other people aren't using this takeaway for some reason? Has there been a change of chef which could explain the difference in the dishes? In any event, we will not be using this takeaway again. Shame!"
"This is our local Chinese take away BUT also in our opinion is the best in the local area, having tried them all since we moved to Clayhanger back in 2018, overall we would say this is the best. Nice food cooked quickly and always hot. Though I will say that the prices have increased a lot and the meat content is not as generous as it was 2 years ago before the pandemic, but I guess this may be the same in lots of places in 'modern' rip off Britain! We have tried most things on the menu and they are all nice and good value meals but if you like things chilli hot or spicy then let them know as most things are NOT very chilli hot unless you ask, also I would say to avoid the Jumbo spring roll as at £2.90 it is a rip off for a filling which contains 98% veg and normally just 2 small pieces of meat. Try to avoid ordering late in the evening as they sometimes seem to stop cooking and clean down around 9:00 to 9:30 and you will either not get fed or will have to wait and then the food seems to be rushed and not up to the normal quality. I can't speak for the delivery service as we live so close we never use it and just walk over BUT it is only £1.20 and the man & 2 girls who do the deliveries are nice friendly people who always seem keen to get the food delivered as quickly as possible. Beware however of internet listings which quote the opening hours otherwise you may be disappointed!! The opening hours as of June 2022 are Sunday to Thursday 16:45 - 22:00 and Friday & Saturday 16:45 - 23:00. WARNING - They are NO LONGER open until 22:30 nor 23:00 Sun - Thurs."
