"I went to Lulu Wild last night and it was a real late and impromptu visit, we got squid to start with, I got the black bean chicken (£16) and he got the Spicy Prawns, we ordered rice separately. Rice was just warm, and as the kitchen was near to closing, I had to wait for my black bean dish perhaps a little longer than usual, as it was the last dish on the table. The decor is quite classy and there are different stories in the restaurant and perfect places to take pictures for Instagram. The cocktails are amazing and the service was great. What made it stand out was that we moved around, as we thought upstairs would be better, but when we got there, it was quite loud as there was a large seated party there, we wanted more of a quiet night. The waiter moved us with no quibbles back downstairs. Secondly, there was a slight error in the drinks that I ordered, and we were given and I was allowed to keep my other drink. Great customer service! When I'm back in central Birmingham, I'll definitely be back."
"Upon entering the decor was warm and elegant with gold hues across the tables, chairs and the bar. The service was impeccable as we were quickly seated and the waitress was friendly and well informed on allergens noted in the reservation booking details. The drinks were made from fresh ingredients and the dinner dishes were incredibly flavourful though slightly small in their portion sizes. Overall, a little pricey but definitely a restaurant worth revisiting on a special occasion and for the lavish quality received."
"Loved this place. Friendly atmosphere. We came for my friends birthday. Shared the starters (small in my opinion) but all the food tasted amazing. My favourite was the chicken in satay sauce, tasted like melted peanut butter. The lights and a seperate seating area upstairs. Glass of malbec with my meal and pint went down a treat."
"I visited with my Mum on a Saturday evening at about 6pm. The service was good and the food was delicious. My only complaint was the music was incredibly loud I could hardly hear the waitress and this was at 6pm. We we’re sat downstairs near the bar area so unsure if upstairs seating is any different but I was really surprised at how loud the music was so early in the evening. Apart from that I really enjoyed the rest of my experience here."
"We visited Lulu Wild for a friends birthday recently. As there were more than 4 of us we were offered the festive menu. The portions were a little too big and we found it quite expensive. I think slightly smaller portions and slightly cheaper prices might be better. The food was very tasty so I’d definitely return. They were also able to advise on halal options which was very much appreciated."
