"I would thoroughly recommend eating at the restaurant as the service and food is excellent. We often eat there with our two small children and the team go out of their way to make them feel welcome and can’t do enough for them. Takeaway is usually good but doesn’t beat the dine-in experience. The first place we chose to eat post lockdown was the Gurkha Square and I would encourage if you like spice to consider the Sherpa chicken."

"Ordered a Chicken Vindaloo and received a Chicken Tikka Massala Rice was watery and had a weird smell. Mango chutney and mint sauce also watery. Tikka Massala was average, I wouldn't recommend."

"Food quality is very random. It’s good on some days but pathetic on others. If you call the restaurant, they are rude and talk very aggressively. They even put down the phone when I was trying to ask for recommendations, citing they are too busy. I will not be ordering from this place again as there are many other good options in our area."

And when we called today and asked for recommendations, we were told to “have made up our minds before we called as the restaurant was way too busy to talk on the phone so they can’t waste time on explaining ”. That’s just outrageous customer service and we will never be ordering from this place again! Absolute rubbish. Ginger &Spice is a much better place to go to and better staff."
