Phoned this evening to order take away was greeted by incredibly rude person who answered me with ‘What do you want I’m in a hurry’ and then put the phone down on me. Appalling customer service. They’ve lost a lot of business from my family and will not be using this place again unless they replace whoever it was that answered the phone."

"Unfortunately Leytonstone Spice has lost new but very loyal customers due to the rudeness of the staff, especially because the food is pretty good, we find the best in the area, but this weekend, after ordering dinner on both Saturday AND Sunday, on the Sunday, after receiving our order, someone from the restaurant called my partner, shouting at him and accusing him of taking delivery of an expensive order which wasn't ours, which was simply not the case. The staff member was extremely rude and wouldn't listen to my partner at all at first. Finally, he seemed to understand that there was a mix up on their or the driver's part and a very pithy apology was issued over text message. Not good enough, I'm afraid. As I say, a shame as the food is good but customers don't deserve that kind of treatment, especially when they've chucked quite a bit of money over in the past couple of months."
