The Green Tandoori,

"A couple of those Vegans here that love to review food, especially now it’s become so expensive. It’s our First time trying the green tandoori after reading reviews and looking at the selection. The menu offers some good munch for the cruelty free conscience. First up, the food temperature - it arrived on time and was steaming hot so can’t fault that, secondly the driver, it was late about 10:30 I admit. So, he had probably had enough for the night, he was a little blunt but polite. Most importantly, the food Taste and appearance - The Vegan Tikka Masala was far too tomatoey and not enough balance with the coconut and cream it tasted like a pasta sauce, I also asked for mostly potato and sauce, they didn’t listen. On to the rice - very standard, Chana Aloo - not bad but again, a little too Bhunaish, The Tarka Dal - Delicious, Onion Bhajis - Soggy and not crispy, I’m also confused by these as on Just eat it says they are Vegan but on Deliveroo it says contains Egg so i suggest you get that sorted because of peoples allergies, no one wants to die over a soggy Bhaji. Lastly, for the vegan breads - Very disappointing to say the least. The Roti was dry and the Potato Paratha just tasted of flour and bland - overall experience for a £30 meal - 5/10"

"Was recommended this takeaway. Wished I stuck to my normal one. The takeaway arrived with half the korma at the bottom of the bag. The pompadoms were all smashed. The onion baji was greasy. Would not recommend. Shame as it was costly too."

"Satisfactory food, however the portion sizes are deceiving. I have complained about the lack of chicken in the korma dishes several time with still no improvement. Disappointing when you actually want chicken korma and not just korma sauce."

"Me and my partner have been eating here for years now. We will only ever order from The Green Tandoori now and once showed my sister in law she always does aswell. Food is always top notch and never changes. Staff are so so friendly and polite and how they treat there repeat customers is brilliant!! 100% recommend."
