"Veg dishes naans and dal were good but lamb dansak disappointing with no sour notes. Garlic chilli chicken came with raw whole garlic cloves and worse still extreme luminous bright red colouring right out of the bottle! The photo doesn’t quite catch it!"

"I just Ordered from Eastern cuisine. I moved right near by and after moving I don't have much $. I needed a satisfying meal. I am a Vindaloo obsessed woman and since moving to London I have had a couple of tragic vindaloo and some nice ones. This is the best in London so it says so here is my honest verdict. The man delivering the food had a wonderful warm smile very kind and handed me my food. The onion salad was delicious and could taste the flavours of onion and herbs the rice was also lovely I ordered 2 vindaloo to eat over the next 2 days. Was it very hot..Yes to a satisfying level for myself. The meat was also nice the only criticism and reason I am leaving 4 stars is the sauce had some level of flavours missing such as clove and cardamon or that particular flavour you crave when needing a vindaloo. It packed the heat and is definitely edible and definitely not the worst at all. But slightly missing some aromatic flavours in the sauce. The chicken Tikka meat was delicious also. Thank you very much"

"I saw a lot of negative reviews on this place, but it’s my 2nd time ordering and I must say I love it. I’ve lived in Croydon area for 5 years and haven’t found a Indian restaurant. I’m so glad I’ve found here, if you like spicy food the vindaloo is great. Also the chicken madras is nice and spicy, beautiful flavours. They are quick with delivery, food arrives nice and hot. Reasonably priced with good portions. Peshwari naan is too perfection."

"We used to go here a few times when it was a restaurant you could walk into now it's just a takeaway shop, I had my usual chilli masala and chilli bread as usual absolutely fantastic, big portions enough rice to feed the five thousand just absolutely lovely, i will sleep well tonight while my belly has a party."

"I ordered dinner from EASTERN CUISINE today due to the online rating. I had pilau rice, ocra & a lamb curry with lentils recommended by the chap that was serving. It was HORRIBLE, absolutely no flavour, I'll have to have toast. I'll be calling them back tomorrow to complain."
