"I booked his restaurant for my Husband’s birthday and the food was delicious. The staff were very helpful and generally attentive. At the end they bought out a lovely little treat and was a perfect end to the night. The only thing this restaurant lacked was ambiance as in there was no Indian music. For that reason I am giving 4/5 stars."
"What makes this restaurant so special isn't just that they elevate Indian cuisine to spectacular levels (and, wow, they do!) it's also the warmth of the staff every time. Highly recommended for a special occasion, and I keep going back!"
"The food was amazing and very fairly priced. There were many great options for vegetarians, omnivores, and pescatarians. The drinks were delicious. My husband and I loved the service and the relaxed environment. I really recommend the pineapple curry - I’ve dreamt about it!"
"Food is 4/5 (on taste) but ambience and presentation is 5/5. If you're celebrating, it's a place to book. Also it's apparently one of the oldest Indian restaurants in London serving since 1926. Drinks are not bad either and much more reasonably priced than some of the other bars in the area. Overall good value for money for a fancy dinner (or lunch!)."
"As a Michelin starred fine dining establishment with a lot of history, the food is only a part of the experience. In terms of ambiance and decor it's quite tastefully done, and you get a sense for how much history the restaurant has. As for the food, it's definitely good, but I was expecting just a little more considering the price and prestige. As some others have mentioned, I was also a little disappointed that there's a dress code mentioned on the website but not particularly enforced."
