Reviews of Flora Indica
"One of the best Indian restaurants in London. They have a creative menu that is unusual. All the dishes are amazing"
"Beautifully presented, flavourful, innovative Indian food. The balance of flavours is perfect and there are some really interesting dishes on the menu. Portions are small so don't expect to be able to share among a larger group (unless everyone is ok with just a taste). Atmosphere in the restaurant is relaxed and elegant, service is great. Cocktails are also fantastic with an extensive gin menu. Plan to spend a nice, long time savouring your food and drink, such a great experience."
"Run don't walk to Flora Indica. The food was so good and the restaurant so comfortable I wish I had taken more pictures but you should head there to see for yourself. We tried a lot of the menu and was blown away by the flavors. You can tell they are using the freshest ingredients. There was a steam punk aesthetic that was really fun. The naan was best I've ever had. The shrimp and the chicken and really everything I was fortunate to eat was literally some of the best I ever had. They brew their own beer which was nice and flavorful. Cannot recommend highly enough."
"Hiya folks! It’s your silly American here! I just have to say this spot was INCREDIBLE. It was probably our favorite place we dined at. Not only was every bite a delight, the service was lovely. Our waiter was friendly and visited us a couple of times to check in. In Europe in general, wait staff takes their time so don’t go in expecting American service and don’t be a jerk. A woman next to us was extremely rude and didn’t want to pay her service fee. Read up on some European etiquette, chill out, and enjoy your food! The atmosphere is chic and gorgeous. It can be a pretty romantic spot so take your honey and enjoy."
"Wonderful tasting food and excellent service. We had all vegetarian options. The Kurmure Okra fries were perfectly spiced and would highly recommend. The Papdi Chaat was terrific I really liked the addition of crispy artichoke. The only reason why this is not 5 star is the paneer starter and the paneer main although currently described differently are identical, same sauce, same paneer texture and cooked in the same way, just presented differently. For the main you get 2 pieces of paneer and for the starter you only get 1. As we were sharing we got both paneer dishes and it was really disappointing that this was near identical. For sides the poppy seed and red Leicester cheese naan is a must try, it worked really well with the black lentil and kidney bean makhani. We had mocktails which were a good portion, tasted lovely and refreshing. I recommend and would go."
