"This restaurant took me by surprise. Not expecting much but it turned out to be most enjoyable for me and all our group of 9 people. The food was excellent, tasty and hot. We took the silver set menu and there was something for everyone and more than enough, so even though some of us might not favour Indian food they got plenty of good dishes. The service was very good, positive and quick responses to every question and hand raised for service."
"Definitely on the pricier side but the food is good. The karahi chicken was very tasty and the garlic naan was lovely and big enough for all the family to share. My only issue was that there was a private singing event going on upstairs and as it's not completely blocked off, it was very loud. You weren't able to have a conversation because of that and it was also too loud for my baby."
"Great place to eat! The smells coming from here were amazing and after a friend recommended it we decided to give it a go. We were not disappointed. The food was delicious, the staff very attentive plus we loved the decor. We tried a cocktail too while we were here (passion fruit one with gin, which was lovely and refreshing) The restaurant itself has a very relaxing atmosphere. Would highly recommend."
"A really beautiful setting just off Liverpool docks. Ferris wheel in the background and a nice ambiance. Staff at restaurant are very polite and overall the food was good, however, took a very long time for starters to arrive. I got the Chapli Kebab which in all honesty wasn’t worth the wait but the main dishes were very good. I personally dislike the naan on antlers but I suppose a lot of restaurants have started to do this now."
"A decent restaurant, nice big space , good service, the mango lassi I ordered was fantastic, so was the strawberry daiquiri mocktail, I ordered popadoms with their selection of chutneys which was delicious, then prawn puri for starters which was actually very disappointing, lacked flavour, needed tomato and lemon and no need for green peppers in it, the puri bread itself wasn’t a real puri more of a deep fried naan, I had lamb bhuna for mains which was nice, but I have had better in many different places, also ordered the chicken korma which was the worst I’ve ever had, not good at all, dessert was a chocolate cake with ice cream which was really good. Overall a good restaurant but not a great one due to its hits and misses."
