"Very nice little pub & restaurant. The staff were friendly, efficient and professional. Superb menu and lovely atmosphere, seating inside and outside and ample parking! I would definitely visit again."
"This pub does a lovely Sunday Roast. We were treated very well by the waiting staff with drinks orders being taken just after we was seated. We ordered the Mixed Roast and only had to wait around 15 minutes for our meal. The food was lovely and made even better by the lovely interiors inside. There is a fireplace as you walk in that was lit which really added to that winter feeling, it's also dog friendly which is a really nice touch. Lastly they give you meal tokens after every meal and if you collect 6 you get a free meal up to £12 on certain days. Highly recommend, will visit again."
"First visit to this pub after driving past it so many times. The decor is smart and has both a pub and restaurant. The waitress was kind enough to squeeze us in without a booking. The food and drinks were lovely, as expected, freshly cooked high-end pub food. However once sat down service was a bit on the slow and unfriendly side despite appearing to be fully staffed and the restaurant not 100% full. If the service improved I'd give this place 5 stars. Would definitely come back again."
"I was expecting more than what we experienced. We didn't even get the chance to sit down before our drinks order was being requested. We were given a good amount of time to decide our orders (the drinks arrived after making the order, so not sure why there was a haste to know them). We ordered two roast meals, olives and halloumi fries. The roasts and fries arrived but no cutlery. Waited a while and ended up going to the bar to ask for some. Then we were told there were no olives (not the end of the world). The beef roast was £18.95 and the lamb was £19.95. For both meals, we expected a bit more of a vegetable mix. I enjoyed my lamb. The beef was enjoyed but two slices didn't fill up the other person. 3 potato halves each felt a bit stingy. The fries had a funny taste. For the meal and two drinks (one pint and one coke) it came to around £53. There is a good sized car park."
"Stopped for a bite after a long bike ride. Service is good and there's a good selection of drinks and food. Had the steak burger and despite of being well done, was tasty and not dry. Could do with better buns. The salad was so so. Overall great experience."
