"This is a nice African eatery tucked right behind Woolich Arsenal Station. They serve good nigerian food that makes you feel like you did the cooking yourself. Very nice and simple surroundings. Will definitely visit again."
"Food was very average. I ordered off of Uber eats and the meat/fish pies and puff puff came soggy and cold. The rice tasted slightly undercooked and extremely lacking of flavour and spices. The carrots were undercooked and plantain was undercooked. The chicken was again average and lacking of flavour. I wouldn’t eat food from here again."
"I am convinced the chef is not of Nigerian extract. I ordered jollof rice to eat in and immediately told the staff the food was dry and tasteless. The fish and 2 plantains were the only saving grace.otherwise No flavour. For those who know Nigerian cuisine, flavours are the order of the day. My takeaway isiewu and suya suffered the same fate. No taste of the spices.. what a waste of money. Other service was ok, staff were reasonably attentive but clearly eager to start heading home, drinks were ok but whiskey ran out after one person in our party asked for 2 shots.. overall, I was not impressed and felt conned by the excellent reviews I had seen on Google which made me venture out to thamesmead with some friends."
"Good value, and really nice staff. Asun is definitely the best lamb dish I’ve ever eaten before. All the dishes are really good, would like to try different menu next time."
