"A cozy, dimly lit restaurant under a train. Perfect for a date night in East London. I wouldn't walk here, but once you get here, it's a very cool little spot. You can hear the train rumble, but it isn't loud enough to really be a bother. We went with the chef's menu, which was an assortment of the a la carte menu. Our favorites were the ricotta, the spaghetti, and dessert. The service was great. The sommelier suggested the perfect wine. The host and waitresses were all polite and cheerful too!"

"We visited Sager and Wilde on Friday early evening, arriving just an hour after opening. Service was great - we had all explanations and attention throughout the evening. Last time we’ve been to Sager+Wilde was 3 years ago and can definitely say it improved since then. We have tried all non-carne plates and all of them were super tasty and creative, crayfish salad to highlight. We decided not to get any desserts as there was nothing with chocolate Generally our experience exceeded expectations and I would heart-fully recommend this place for tapas and wine, just wine or just tapas. "Had dinner around 7.30pm. I'll definitely go back to try the rest of the menu. To.Po (£11,50): 10/10 super good! Well made and presented. [gin, Martini Rosso, white port, chocolate bitters] Focaccia (£ 4,50): 9/10 tasty focaccia with a drizzle of olive oil. Would have been a 10 if it would have been warmed up a bit. Venison (£26,50): 9/10 every single ingredient on the plate was great and they all comined in a mouth-watering bite. Charity Still Water (£1,00): "all proceeds to Red Cross Turkey-Syria earthquake appeal" Service Charge 12.5% (£5,44) tot. £48,94 The railway running on top of your head is greatly muffled with soundproof solution and you barely notice it. The restaurant is nicely furnished and decorated. Highly recommended for a great dinner with amazing food."

"Paradise row is a collection of railway arches with bars and restaurants behind Paradise Gardens. Sager + Wilde is where you want to go for a proper 3 course lunch or dinner. They serve fresh pasta dishes. We shared the veggie options. I can recommend this restaurant for a date night or relaxed place to lunch with friends. The interiors are lovely. We sat outside in a pedestrianised area so there’s no traffic."
