"I am literally eating the food now and, honestly, it's okay, not a 5 star but definitely worth a 4 star. I asked for my food to be extra spicy and to have more onions and they did not disappoint. My food was ordered via Uber eats and it was packaged really well."
"The food and service was really good definitely worth a try use the taste card for a 241 offer sadly on my 2nd visited i found out they stopped doing the asari chicken tikka"
"Visited after hearing recommendations and was was pleased to with the visit. We ordered the mix grill starter, Hyderabad Biriyani, tadka dall and chilli fries. The starter and fries did us plenty. Good portions and excellent quality. The waiting staff were very good. Decor wasn't bad but a little tired. In general this was a pleasant visit. Parking outside is free after 7pm, bit tricky and may need you to drive around a bit in the evening, in the day it may be easier as it's pay and display."
"My friends and I went here for Eid. Food lacks quality but is abundant in quantity. I ordered noodles and received enough for two people, however the noodles carried weak flavour and little, if any, spice. Service isn't too great, we waited well over 30 minutes just for dessert (understandably this was due to how busy it was on Eid, but if we were actually warned about this wait time, we would have gone elsewhere). When the dessert finally came, we felt the amount was meagre for how much it cost. I ordered the brownie with a sizzling (fudge?) sauce and ice-cream (pictured) which tasted good what with the contrast of the hot brownie and cold ice-cream. Overall I'd recommend ordering a curry dish instead of a noodle dish, as a friend really enjoyed his butter chicken with naan. As for desserts I'd go someplace else."
"From a former regular customer: NEVER AGAIN! Maida (Bethnal Green) has gone down significantly over the years. They used to do the best chinese food but everything except the lollipop chicken has gone down! The lollipop chicken used to be a generously fair amount before and now they count out 4 chicken wings (literally). The noodles have lost their taste - don't even bother ordering fish or prawn any longer, you actually won't be able to tell the difference. The biryani just tastes of parsley and the burgers don't even get me started. Staff are still polite. At my latest (and last ever) visit they didn't bring any bread. Mixed up the orders and even forgot to bring some of the order which we had to cancel as we left because they didn't even start making it! Not usually too negative about a bad experience but im writing this in hopes that an owner would read this and bring the old Maidah back - the one i used to enjoy and still crave. You've lost a regular customer"
