"Tayyabs is famous for lamb chops but yesterday I felt like they cooked in a hurry.. some of them are not cooked well, and I can taste the raw masala. Most of the time they get confused with the orders. When you enter they are so nice.. the more time you take to complete the food, they reduce the nice behaviour as well. I understand their business model, but their service could be improved."

"This is a great place to go to if you want the option of BYOB in east London. The food was tasty (we had the vegetarian samosas, the lamb chops which were delicious, and a few different curries). The curries were a bit oily and not as packed with flavour as expected, but still good - and very affordable! One downside is we made a booking for 7:45 but only got a table 40 minutes later, as the front of house is a bit disorganized."

"Always a good place. Especially if you have a larger group (booking essential). Service is fast even when it is busy. Food is fantastic - lamb chops, kebab and dry curry were all very tasty. Also plenty of good vegetarian options. Great value for money. Mango lassi always a nice treat."

"I wanted to visit this place 10 years ago when it was smaller. It wasn't busy today around 3pm so I would recommend this time. The presentation of food is excellent, the service was fast but I had my concerns about the hygiene level. I some one of the staff filling a salad plate using his own bare hands which is not acceptable in my view. Hope this restaurant will take this critique seriously as their dishes are very good. On the positive side, the portions are generous and the staff are very friendly. I recommend the Mango Drink."
