"Customer service was great, the environment seemed clean. Food was good portion and value for money. Its not best african food I've had but despite this it served me well."
"I’m not sure why I go back! Egusi soup lacks that lovely tomato base I expect. I had to decant it into a pot, add tomato and pepper before I could eat. There is just something off point with this (second time buying this dish - so not a one iff) But look, maybe it’s just me! Maybe my region does it differently, and everyone else likes it this way. But won’t be buying this again."
"Quality of food is good and portion is reasonable. Each time I visit, I always find that I have to repeat my order over 4 times before they are able to get it right. It's unbelievable that customers are charged 50p per bowl if you want your take away microwaved."
"This is the worst African cuisine I’ve ever had omg I’m sorry but it doesn’t even deserve 1 star since trying it my stomach hurts and I feel sick. the pounded yam was slightly grey and had hard bits on the side cling film had melted into it because of the way it was wrapped The soup was inedible it smelt disgusting I tried a tiny bit but you could taste it was defrosted and old it was not pleasant the prawn was hard and like half of it had been pulled off and the meat you couldn’t eat it wasn’t able to pull apart or bite it was too tough and really bad I’ve had African food before and this was so disappointing I was really looking forward to it and it just wasn’t good sorry hopefully it improves !"
"The food is fine but the service needs to improve drastically. I've come here more than 10 times but today will be my last day if I can help it. Recently they have had younger staff in who lack basic customer service and give customers food like Egusi soup in broken containers. Its just bad service my food is contaminated. I saw them hold it and pack it right in front of me so I know they felt how damaged the container was."
