"First time visiting a Mamma Dough - for a late lunch - today and it was pretty good! Lots of choice of starters (olives, garlic breads, salads), pizzas (vegan, veggies and meaty ones), dips, and desserts. They serve wines, cocktails and nice beers and have locations across south east London: as well as this South Norwood branch there in Brixton, Peckham, Sydenham and Ladywell. The staff were friendly, prices were good and the decor was really nice. My sourdough pizza could have been a bit better - a little flat not chewy or fluffy enough - but good amount of toppings and very tasty."

"For my personal taste, the dough isn't my absolute favourite. Still very very good, but not quite exactly to my tastes. Cooked very well, good amount of toppings and the service was very fast and polite. The dining space is also nice, with plenty of seating available. Good pizza place."

"The best sourdough pizza in South London! The crust is super fluffy, crispy and non-greasy (unlike your usual chain pizzas) if it's not sourdough it's not a real pizza. I travelled to Naples on the hunt for good pizza and MammaDoughs is equal if not better than the places I visited in Italy! I cannot recommend this place more, great menu and their specials change every week. I have eaten here over a dozen times and every single time it was amazing!"

"The pizza is really excellent, made with a lovely sourdough so they have a nice tang to them. I would go back repeatedly for their starters and pizzas. The tiramisu seemed like an afterthought, it was a bit dense and the paper coffee cup it was served in made it awkward to eat."

"My favourite pizza joint in town. Their cured meat pizza is to die for with a wonderful, thin crust, as is the pineapple and ham pizza whenever it makes an appearance in their specials. I am a fan of the rocket salad as well even if its portion size never seems to be the same from one order to next--it keeps you on your toes! Highly recommended."
