The owner Vas interacted with guests and both his warmth and energy made everyone feel welcomed. The food was plentiful, fresh and tasty. It was a Friday evening and there was live entertainment, this was good fun and created a lively atmosphere, with diners joining in and dancing. "An authentic Greek restaurant in the heart of Winchmore Hill...my first time visiting and for sure it won't be my last. The service was very nice, and the food came in a timely manner. I ordered a chicken souvlaki, which came with rice and chips (double carbs). I was pleasantly surprised with the portion sizes as in some restaurants you'd only get one skewer of chicken, I got two. My partner ordered Sheftalia (pork meatballs) which looked very nice. Everything we ordered was freshly made, it was all piping hot. We were missing one part of our order, we didn't say anything because the service was good. Would I recommend Babinodas, yes I would. I don't think you will be disappointed."

"We pass by this restaurant frequently, but came here this evening on last minute impulse. We really liked the place. Cheerful atmosphere, good food and quick friendly service. We were even offered a complimentary short with the coffee. I haven't experienced that for years. Nice touch!"
